Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a consult call by clicking the “Book Now” button at the top of the page—we’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

Do you offer on-call or emergency support?

Given the nature of this work, I may not be the best fit if you are in need of ongoing, on-call support or are currently in crisis. If that becomes clear during our consultation, I will work with you to identify referrals that can offer the level of care you need.

This is my first intensive. What should I expect?

Intensives are designed to provide focused, uninterrupted time to work through experiences that may feel stuck or unresolved. Unlike weekly therapy, this format allows us to move more deeply and efficiently, with space for both processing and integration.

All my intensive packages are structured to include an intake session, the intensive session - can be a half day, full day, or a custom schedule we create together to best fit your schedule and needs - and a follow up session. Breaks are given as needed, and there is a 60-minute mid-day break for all full day intensives.

Clients often describe the process as intense, but also relieving and often leads to a sense of resolution, distance, or decreased reactivity around the trauma. You remain in control throughout and we move at a pace that feels manageable for your nervous system.

Whether you are in person or we connect virtually from your home, I always recommend that clients create a comfortable, safe, and distraction free environment for their intensive session. I always suggest water or a preferred beverage, snacks or a nourishing meal, a blanket or sweatshirt, fidgets or other sensory objects, and your client workbook. If clients are participating from home, you can also consider headphones, white noise machines, or other tools to create a private space.

For in-person intensives, I can also connect you with trusted providers in my building who offer Reiki and Massage Therapy, which can be a supportive complement to your emotional healing process.

Do you accept my insurance?

For One-on-One Therapy sessions, I currently accept Aetna Health, Inc., BCBS, Carelon Behavioral Health, CIGNA, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Mass General Brigham Health Plan, OptumHealth, Tufts Health Plan, Unicare, and Well Sense Health Plan

Please note that insurance does not cover Intensive Sessions.

In what states do you offer therapy?

I am fully licensed in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Maine. If you are seeking in-person services, my office is located in Medway, MA.
